Chambers & Partners ranks Kubes Law Firm and Kristine A. Kubes

Unsolicited recognition never ceases to amaze and humble us! Kubes Law Office is beyond honored by its inaugural ranking as a construction law firm by Chambers & Partners, in addition to Kristine’s individual ranking for the fourth year in a row. These acknowledgments for our solo/small practice are remarkable. Chambers rankings are the definitive mark of approval across the global legal industry, demonstrating that the firm and lawyer “has stood out in the most rigorous, independent and in-depth research process of any legal directory on the market, and has emerged as one of the best in the field.”  We are humbled and honored by this recognition.

Racing & Building for Good 2026

Racing for Good 2026

Kristine and other members of the ABA Forum on Construction Law arose early May 9 after the Forum Annual Meeting to participate in Racing for Good & raise funds for Building for Good, Inc. This group raised $40,000! Building for Good is a national nonprofit organization that connects nonprofits with skilled construction lawyers to address their legal needs. By providing pro bono legal services, B4G enables organizations to focus their resources on mission delivery rather than legal expenses. Kristine is one of the Founders and an officer of Building for Good. Many thanks to our generous sponors and donors.

ABA Forum on Construction Law Celebrates 50 Years

Gathering of many national Chairs of the Forum on Construction Law, May 2026

On May 6-9, 2026, in Chicago, IL, the ABA Forum on Construction Law celebrated its 50-year history, its legacy as the largest and preeminent association of construction lawyers on the planet (literally), and its ongoing benefit to the profession. Kristine Kubes is one of only seven women elected to serve as the National Chair of the Forum in its 50-year history, and the first and only solo practitioner to hold that office in the Forum’s history. Kristine was asked to speak at the program, along with her colleague Arlan Lewis, about their insights on leadership from the last decade in the Forum.
